• I see many magazine style websites having a small picture on the right of the post introduction, a picture you see in full with the entire text after hitting the ‘read more’ link. Does anybody know which plugin this is?

    anybody?

I don’t think it’s a plugin as much as it’s using custom queries and code to pull the image out to a thumbnail position.

I would LOVE for someone to prove me wrong and link up to a plugin, but in terms of speaking from experience, I paid a pretty penny to outsource that for a client of mine when I was building their site.

I am using Custom Fields with the Get Custom Field Values plugin to do what you are asking about. You can see it here..

Actually, Kaf’s post-image plugin can do it:

You need index and single file in the theme, of course. You call the plugin’s tag only in the index.

I actually looked at that post-image plugin 1st and found that using custom tags was much more flexible at least for what I needed to do.

Wow – Thanks Moshu for posting that – took me literally less than a minute to implement and it looks great. ??
