How to have users register before downloading from my site?

  • Hey everyone!

    I have a website which has some tutorials and I have some word documents uploaded using the upload media tab.

    I would like to have users register before they can download from my site. Is there a way to do this?

    I tried quite a lot of plugins, but none seems to work fine.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Well I tried many.

    Risal Download Plugin for WordPress
    Email Before Download Plugin
    WP Filebase Download Manager
    Pie Register
    WP-Members.

    And also a few others, whose names I can’t remember.

    I’m not sure if I am doing something wrong.

    You could try using restrict content. Free version may be what you are looking for and the pro has awesome support.

    put the META widget on your site and that will requier login
