    Hi there!

I’d like to show a banner inviting visitors to answer a forminator form at my site, but only if they haven’t answered it yet. If they have already answered the form, then I don’t want to show the banner. Does the plugin have a function to check that information? It’s a public form and it’s set to be answered only once per visitor, so I guess it uses some sort of cookies to save that information (if the visitor has already answered it or not).

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi @catiakitahara,

Hope this message finds you well.

Currently, Forminator doesn’t have such a feature. Are you referring to a Poll? Only polls have a voting limit.

Still, your request might be out of our support scope, we only have snippets that work oppositely, and use a parameter like an email to avoid duplicate submissions.

Please let us know about your form so we can provide alternative solutions.

    Best regards,
    Laura

Ah, sorry! You’re right! I got confused. It’s just a public form.

Ah no worries, thanks a lot! I’ll do it via javascript, I’ll try to add a localStorage on form submission and check if it’s there to show/hide the banner.

Anyway, thanks a lot for your answer! It’s reassuring when a free plugin has a friendly and efficient support!
