How to hide 'Additional Information' tab?

    LOVE this theme! I don’t need the premium features but will likely purchase just to support, and to use for another project I’m working on.. Thank you!

    Question: I can’t seem to find anywhere in the theme or WooCommerce settings where to disable the Additional Information tab on a product page. I barely have any info there so would definitely like to hide/remove it altogether.

    Woocommerce made this a little more complicated since the last update, now you can’t hide product weight from the product options but you have to use a custom function, or hide the whole tab all together with a function, here the docs on that:

    I suggesting using a child theme. I may look into bringing some of these settings into my theme since woocommerce dropped but its an update or two away.

    So I’m planning to use the theme for another client as well but she is concerned about the fact that the theme is free – although there is of course the premium version we’d probably get also. Her concern is that since the theme is free there might be issues with security in the future, or issues with the theme not being updated a few months, 6 months, 2 years from now. Is this a valid concern – ie do you see yourself/your team giving up updating this theme at some point? I’d love to hear what your vision for the theme is before we make the decision. Thank you very much!

    Hey,
    WordPress is free and it actually controls almost all the security so if that concerns your client then you might consider not using an open source cms. But really if you keep up with updates it’s pretty secure and there are plugins that help make it even more secure.

    As for the theme it’s not going away. We are pretty dedicated to it’s success and up keep ?? With that being send there is no such thing as a ten year plan with the internet, it changes too rapidly.
