Thanks to this wonderful community and great software, I am building my first website (for a friend). While building, it is hosted locally on my PC and I would like to be able to view it without the ever-present black WordPress navbar at the top of the window which I see when I publish/view:

Is there a way to view the site as it will eventually appear, ie without the black navbar?

    Sorry this is so basic.

  • Go into your Dashboard. Look top right and click your icon where it says Howdy <name>, then Edit My Profile. Once there, uncheck Show Toolbar when viewing site

Damn! I’m really annoyed it was this easy. And your avatar makes me feel even worse.

    Thank you.
