How to hide displayed categories under products.

This could be related to the theme you have installed as that view looks to be of a product in a category loop.

Do you have any more insight as to what theme or plugins you are using? Potentially there are theme settings that will allow you to remove it.

I have the same problem, my theme is FastShop eCommerce: https://www.ads-software.com/themes/fastshop-ecommerce/

I have some plugins, but the product archive is taken straight from the theme, no modifications to is at all, no plugins used to retouch it. The theme itself looks nice, but I can’t get rid of the categories under the products in any way. I have found plenty instructions of how to hide categories from the shop- but I only want not to display the category to which the product belongs, not to hide the whole category from the shop. I only have one category so displaying it looks stupid to be honest. There must be some CSS magic that would simply hide the line “Category:…” from the archive pages.

To be a bit more precise- all I need is to hide the “categories” from the product archive page.

This can be fixed with some custom CSS. Under Customize > Additional CSS, you can add the following code:

/* hide categories on product archive pages */
?.archive .product-categories {
    display: none !important;
}

as just one example.
However, every product category has it.
I’ve tried a few variations of that css code found online, and none, including the one by Amir have worked for me, even after clearing my websites’ servers cache.

Could you please try adding the following code below under Appearance > CSS and see if this works?

/* Hide Product Categories on Shop Page */

.woo-cats {
    display: none;
}
