How-to hide download buttons

    I am using elementor and acf plugins to implement file upload/download functioality. Buttons appear on blog post. I would like to use PrivateContent to hide the buttons from visitors but show to members.

    I don’t see how to do this. The short codes don’t seem to work with elementor or perhaps I have used them incorrectly. When I tried your example the entire text plus short code is displayed.

    Any ideas will be appreciated.

    Do you mean that the shortcode of Private Content is not executed? This happens when a plugin or a theme doesn’t allow the execution of nested shortcodes. Usually page builders create page structures using their own shortcodes. If these shortcodes don’t allow execution of nested shortcodes, the page displays the text of the post as is, with shortcodes not expanded.
