I’ve gotten rid of the Location field in the Field Editor, however it keeps appearing with “Anywhere” as the default. How do I get rid of this?

  • Hi @smontoro

The development team is working on this feature.

For now, You can set the location from anywhere to virtual/online,
You can translate those strings from .po file using the method mentioned in this doc: https://wp-eventmanager.com/knowledge-base/translating-wp-event-manager/

Note: I am suggesting you to translate the strings from .po file instead of .php file to save your changes/customization after plugin updates too.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

    Thanks.
    Have a nice day.

    Regards

    Hi Priya,

Is this a recent bug in the plugin? According to the documentation, I’m suppose to be able to delete the event fields and add new ones. At the moment, fields I delete do not go away on the front-end, and fields that I add to not appear.

Here is the documentation I’m referencing: https://wp-eventmanager.com/knowledge-base/event-fields/

Are you saying that currently the only way to add and remove event fields is to override the template files?

    Hi @smontoro
It would be great if a new issue is opened differently on the forum.

Yes, it is correct that the only way to add and remove event fields is by overriding the template files.

We are working on the plugin’s enhancement, and soon we would bring out a direct and easier way to control the fields that you want to make it appear on front-end.

    I hope you understand.

    Regards
    Team Support.
