How to hide media library uploads from search engines and unauthorized access?

    Is there anyway to hide certain media library uploads from search engines and any unauthorized access attempts? At the moment the only important thing I’d have there to hide is an ebook that will be given to subscribers upon submitting their email, and it is copy protected and includes my links and so on so it’s not a HUGE deal. BUT I still would like to be able to hide it so that no one cannot find it and get it, other than by subscribing to my list.

    What if there’s some really important product/s , that are meant to only those who pay for it….? How to protect them? Is there some plugin or any other way to protect them like some code? (As of now, I certainly wouldnt upload there any products meant for paying customers as I don’t know how to protect them) I don’t know anything about coding or anything like that and have no idea how to do this, so was thinking maybe you guys know of some way…

  • Did you find a solution for this? I’m trying to find out how to hide certain obsolete items that sales is not quite ready to remove from the Media Library. There are ways to hide the entire uploads folder, but we just need to hide items with a particular keyword.
