How to hide original home page content in homepage?

    Thanks for the great theme.
    I have problem to setup the homepage. I’ve already set the frontpage the a page called home with title Home and no content. But when I open the site, the page title (“Home”) is displayed along with its sidebar below the slider & featured pages. I also have set a widget into homepage left & right column.

    Why the frontpage is still displayed home page content (title, content & sidebar) ?

    Hello,

    Why wouldn’t the contents of the page be displayed on the homepage?
    That’s how it is demonstrated in our live demo of the theme. Why would it work any different?

    “A Word from Our Pastor” – the title of the page set as the homepage.
    The text beneath it is the content of that page.

    I see. I thought “A Word from Our Pastor” was not the home page. Sorry for that & many thanks.
