How to Hide the Dashboard from Logged in Users

  • I run a subscription site with WordPress and I’d like for my logged in users to go directly back to the homepage after logging.

    For some reason WordPress defaults by presenting logged in users with their dashboard.

    I’ve found a few plugins that no longer work with the latest version of WP. I wonder if there is a way to fix this just by editing the code instead of using plugins?
