    Hello!

How can I remove the number of comments shown under each post? My url is https://www.eatfreeblog.com. (For example, under the “Coconut Ladoos” post, it says “2 comments”.) I’d like to to say just “comment” (the ones that have no comments just say “comment”, that’s how I’d like it to be for all of them, comments or not.) Thanks!!

You will need to start editing your theme’s template file. Look for <?php comments_popup_link();?>

Thanks, found that. What do I change? “% comments”?

Try changing % comments to just comment.

    That didn’t work.

It did for me. Remember to press CTRL and F5 simultaneously when viewing an updated page/site. Or try emptying your browser cache. This should ensure that your web browser fetches a fresh copy of the page rather than serving up an out-dated copy from your own cache.

    Also disable/deactivate any caching plugin(s).
