Hello, how can I identify an order from the Bank Statement? On the Bank Statement it says: “Woopayments D8Z3P7”, in the payments section in WordPress it says “Transaction ID txn_3P4GYD2EAuwf8azd0a…”. Neither in WordPress nor on the bank statement there is a reference to the invoice number, the customer or the product. How can I identify the order and connect it with the invoice e.g. in lexoffice?

    Regards, Jürgen

    Hi @koenigj

On the Bank Statement it says: “Woopayments D8Z3P7”, in the payments section in WordPress it says “Transaction ID txn_3P4GYD2EAuwf8azd0a…”.

The deposit ID and the sales transaction ID are different, and they don’t relate to each other because the deposit usually happens with the funds available from multiple sales, while the transaction ID is specific to each sale.

You can explore all the deposits under Payments > Deposits. If you need to search transactions for each sale, you can easily do so in Payments > Transactions.

Neither in WordPress nor on the bank statement there is a reference to the invoice number, the customer or the product. How can I identify the order and connect it with the invoice e.g. in lexoffice?

By default, WooPayments doesn’t generate any invoice number. However, you can use the WooCommerce order ID as the invoice number to link it up in your third-party invoice or sales management software.

Additionally, to generate invoices for each sale, you can use an additional plugin like WooCommerce Print Invoices and Packing Lists.

I hope this clarifies your concern. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Thank you for your answer. I use Germanized to generate invoices. Germanized connects autmatically with our account software Lexoffice. There it looks like this. the invoices from WordPress are also in lexoffice

When I follow your directions, I have to go from lexoffice to WordPress -> Woopayments -> Transactions. There I have to figure out which order is connected with Woopayments D8Z3P7 to find out the invoice number. This is a multistep task for our accountant to login in WordPress and lexoffice and search for the relevant sale.

It would be much easier to see the invoice number or the Woocommerce order number on the bank statement. Is this possible?

    Do you understand my point?
