How to ignore image dimensions when pasting it to wordpress wysiwyg editor?

  • I want to copy/paste external image to wordpress wysiwyg editor interface WITH ignoring the image dimensions, style and class. Only want it to fetch the image source parameter. i.e, <img src=”https://wwww&#8221; />.

  • The best way is to work in HTML view. However, if you want to insert the image in Visual view then always use: Upload/Insert button located above the editor buttons for B, I, Strikethru etc etc.

    WP will automatically get the dimensions for your image. You can then work in HTML view and change these to your liking.
