How To Import A Backup Into Another Wp Installation

Hi there,

I have quite a big problem to address: I basically have to move all my WP contents from a subdomain to the root www domain. I ran the backup with My WP Backup and I wanted to import it in the WP installation I have on www. Will it work?

If not, can you please address me on how to do what I need?
