• Hello there,

So I’ve finally decided to use WP! But the problem is I’ve had years of data on my 1up account and I’d love to carry it over (even if its just the content and not comments). But I don’t know how.

I’ve looked through all the option and none of them really applies to me. It does ask for RSS import, but I don’t or can’t download/export XML from 1up.

I know google reader reads my whole feed, but then viewing the source won’t help.

Anyone have an idea how I could turn my existing blog feed into a XML file, so I can upload it to WP? or other alternative? :O

    My 1up feed:

    Thanks ahead of time =)

wow, you’re already the first result for ‘1up wordpress import’ on google. congrats ??

I’ve never had any experience with 1up, and unfortunately their front page loops endlessly through blank white pages, they apparently require everyone to run js before you can even seen their site ?? I can see why you’re moving from them then!

There are a TON of sites that wordpress natively supports transfering to and from :

sadly, 1up isn’t on that list, do you have a way to export your 1up data to a CSV or excel file of anykind? XML?

They never wanted anyone to move away, so they provide no means of export. The only thing I can think of is make use of RSS as a way to grab/parse the info off.

I clicked around, their blog sucks, only has a few buttons to link, img and post LOL! nothing fancy like WP.
