  • Hi Chris,

Do you have a database backup?

    Thank you for your reply.

I got regular backups done by BackWPup, the database should be in it!

should i look for a certain file in it?

It is necessary to restore the following tables to get back the dates and all event details:

    wp_term_relationships, wp_term_taxonomy, wp_terms(Categories and Tags) and wp_posts table, wp_posts, wp_ai1ec_events and wp_ai1ec_event_instances tables.

thank you, but how do i do that? i will google for it!

another strange thing is that the calendar did take the categories (just two, but anyway) from the old calendar. did the new one maybe already find the categorie-tables itself?

    Hi Joker,

It’s hard to know without checking your website and database.

yeah, i understand, but I found the tutorial now how to do a manual backup for the plugin and asked our hosting company to restore a backup.

thank you very much for your help anyway!

No problem, glad I could help.

    Take care,
    Ben
