how to Import word documents as posts and pages?

Yes, we have noticed that the import feature is not working as expected. We are looking into the issue and will fix it in the upcoming release, which is due in a couple of weeks. Thanks for your patience.

Have you fixed and updated the plugin to enable the import feature? I also couldn’t find the place to import doc files.

We have fixed the issue in the latest release, Aspose.Words 6.3.1 WordPress Plugin. You will notice the “Import from Media Gallery” option in Aspose.Words section from Post menu while creating new post/page.

I just installed version 6.3.1 using file: ‘aspose-doc-exporter.6.3.1.zip’ and the “Import from Media Gallery” is not present under the Post option on the Dashboard. WP version 5.9.3.

The plugin is working fine with my WP version 5.9.3. Please make sure that you have activated the Aspose.Words WordPress plugin after installation.

Yes, the plugin is activated When I check the settings, there is no import option only export. I’ve installed on three WordPress sites with the same results. Does the Words plugin require being licensed? I only see the Free and Unlimited to Words Cloud option?

We have used Aspose Import and that had license keys.

Please note after installing and activating Aspose.Words WordPress Plugin, you will notice an “Import from Media Gallery” button at the right bottom of the page while creating a new post/page.
