How to improve compression grade

    Hi folks,
    how’s goind?

    I’ve a question concerning my blog
    I’m very satisfied with WP Smush.it BUT look at this:
    i smush manually every pic, however when I check my web with GTMetrix, the program shows that I can reach a better compression.
    Do you know if is it possible to configure/setup an higher compression for my pics?

    Thanks for writing. The Smush.it plugin is simply a tool to use the online Yahoo Smush.it API service. So basically the plugin calls an external URL (the API) and passes a URL to your image. All compression and validation is performed on the remote Yahoo service.

    This is the same as you uploading the images directly to Yahoo Smush.it https://www.smushit.com/ysmush.it/ and then uploading the processed image to your site.

    So long answer for a short question. The answer is there are no configurable options to increase compression.
