• Hi,

First of all, let me say I’m enjoying a lot this plugin. It’s a smart way to display large lists of products when you don’t have much descriptive content.

I wonder how I can show all my products without having to type all the product categories I have (+50).

    Is there a workaround?

    Thanks.

    Hi @alvarogois

Thanks a lot for such kind and encouraging words. We are really ecstatic to hear that our plugin has been helpful to you.

With due respect, this sort of issue should not have happened in our plugin as it is supposed to display all products from each of your categories by default (if you don’t select any specific category).

We think somehow you have a particular category chosen in the settings. This is why you are having the problem.

Could you please check again? If the settings are alright but still the issue persists, then you can contact our support team.

We’ll definitely assist you with that.

    Hi @tarekht

Is there a limit on the number of products the plugin can handle?

If I don’t select a category I get no products and no table at all. I’ll look into the logs to see if there’s any error there.

    Thanks.

OK. It seems to be a memory issue. I’m getting this in the logs:

[12-Feb-2022 19:41:57 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2621440 bytes) in /home/XXXXX/public_html/site/wp-includes/class-wp-object-cache.php on line 446

I’ve tried raising PHP memory but the error persists.

It’s a development site still in a shared hosting. Maybe it doesn’t like that WooCommerce has +40K products… Though only 4K are in stock.

    Any ideas?

I don’t have problems managing products in the site dashboard. Nor doing product imports.

    Thanks.

Thank you so much for your response.

Yes, there seems to be an issue when there is a large number of products in WooCommerce. We greatly appreciate you for pointing it out in such detail.

Don’t worry, we’ve taken this into consideration as well as marked it as the top priority. Hopefully, we’ll release an update very soon by addressing this issue.

Thanks again for your valuable feedback and cooperation.

    Best regards,

    Hi @tarekht

What is the threshold of products that we can consider acceptable? Will I be able to get the plugin working if I eliminate the out-of-stock products or is 5000 products still too much?

    Thanks.

Hi again. I tested in a site copy, where I removed out-of-stock products and updated the term count: the max number of products was 3138, of 5 different product categories.

    Hi,

This is awesome. I can confirm the table is now showing 47624 products in a shared hosting environment, and I see no errors in the logs.

Of course search is slower but it’s expected.

I’m going to buy the Premium version and try the Taxonomy Filter and other filtering options.

Is there a way for the Search box to search also in Taxonomies, instead of using a filter? There’re a lot of terms, the taxonomy filter may not be the best UX for this store.

    Thanks.

    Hello @alvarogois

Thanks a lot for informing us. Glad to hear that now there are no errors in the logs anymore. We truly appreciate your interest in our plugin.

Unfortunately, the option to search in taxonomies is not available in the search box of our plugin.

    Best regards,

    Hi @tarekht

I did try the Premium version but maybe it hasn’t been updated yet? Because I’m seeing the same errors as before in the Premium version.

    Thanks.
