How to include an image in the same column below the event details?

    Hello, our client would like to display an image right below the event details (such as date and place). There are two possible images we can target:
    1) the preview image included in the event post
    2) an image inserted in the event description body text.
    Either image would be fine, as long as it is positioned in the same column together with the event details. How can we achieve this?

    Hi Jan,

    Without changing plugin files I recommend using the Advanced Custom Fields plugin for this.

    From readme file:
    Create a field group for post type “event” and add fields to this group. This field group will be added to the single event page in dashboard.

    VSEL does support the image field type.

    Thanks for your prompt reply. Your recommendation worked like a charm! We are now able to add pictures easily below the event details.
