How to include custom content to each category page?
-
I would like to know how I can add custom content to each category page in WordPress. I have a main category called “Wedding Venues” with numerous sub-categories such as Venue 1, Venue 2, Venue 3, and so on, up to Venue 100. The approach I’m considering is creating a custom category page using the site editor. However, this means I would have to manage a separate category template for each sub-category, resulting in over 100 custom category templates.
I’m unsure if WordPress imposes any limitations or if this approach could potentially slow down or disrupt the system.
Additionally, the dropdown menu would become lengthy if I need to change templates for other non-category pages or posts.
I prefer to explore alternative solutions rather than follow this route. Are there any recommended plugins or better advice for achieving this?
I came across the Enhanced Category Pages plugin, but its last update was in 2015. I appreciate your help in advance.
PS: I would like to achieve the final output of different contents (custom contents of wordings + images shown at the end of the queryloop of post listing) on different category pages. The layout can remain the same for all of the category pages.
Thank you
