How to include custom response into the email body

  • Using CF7 4.9.
    I have a form which generates a quote for products and have setup an action to display a a custom message with the quote amount. The form works well; however, I would like to add the quote amount to the email body, so that the client is aware of the quote amount

    I tried the add_filter and apply_filters but the quote amount is blank in the email.

    Can you guide me on how to achieve this?
