    Hi,

This is regards to our website https://shatayushi.co.in/

We are using gmedia plugin and have added multiple images and mapped those to different pages using gmedia short code. However, when visitor searches for a particular keyword (for example “apm”) search result displays media names having word “apm”. However its only the image name and links that are displayed in search results and not the page where they are mapped.

Since its a pharmaceutical products site having similar name of medicines, visitor wish to see which category of the image (medicine) where belong to, which can be identified from the page where the image is mapped using short-code. We need to therefore display link of page in search result where the that gmedia image is mapped using short-code.

    Please help.

If you want to exclude images from WordPress search and show only default posts and pages, then go to Gmedia Settings -> Permalinks -> check “Exclude Gmedia Library Items from WordPress search results on the Frontend” checkbox.

Thank you Rattus for your response. Yes I am aware of exlcusion option in gmedia for search results, however, we do need images to appear in the search results and we also need the page link to appear in search result where the image is mapped. Would be great if you could help. Thanks once again!

I’ve dig it and seems like there is no easy way to search content inside shortcodes.
But you can try to add for each image link to the associated product and allow search for gmedia items. Every image will be linked to product and when visitor click on it, then product page will be opened.
