How to include the Listing in search results

  • I use woocommerce along with listeo theme. I like relevanssi plugin; it gives me what i wanted to do with search. However there is an issue. I want to include listing in the search but as per settings its no. How do i change the settings? This is under Index tab –> Indexing Options –> Post Types.

    Check the “listing” post type box in the Relevanssi post types settings, save the options and rebuild the index.

    Does the “listing” post type have “yes” in the “Excluded from search” column? That doesn’t stop Relevanssi, but you may need to uncheck the “Respect exclude_from_search for custom post types” option on the Searching tab of Relevanssi settings. There may be other problems searching for post types that are excluded from search, because whoever added the post type didn’t want it to be searched.

    What exactly happens? What kind of results you do get? Since you’re using WooCommerce, is your search perhaps restricted to just products? Many WooCommerce themes do that, they only display products in the search results. Is there perhaps a &post_type=product at the end of your search results page URL?
