How to increase file upload size for a multisite?

    Hi guys, I’m having a problem that I could use a hand with. I’ve got a multisite 3.1 install running but I can’t increase the memory for file uploads.

    I’ve done the same things that I would do on a single site install to get the increase working but on multisite mode, it’s just not accepting the standard php.ini and .htaccess changes.

    I’m on Bluehost if that matters.

  • When you go into the Multisite Site Admin section, click Settings in the Dashboard and scroll down.

    There is a setting for
    Max upload file size and
    Site upload space

    Most likely that is what needs changing, in addition to potentially the PHP settings.

    Try checking your wp-includes/default-constants.php file around line ~23 too

    I’ve had to tweak the PHP.ini file as well. Default is 2MB.
