    Hi! I did a test on my page at GTMetrix & Google Pagespeed, and I found out that my page is loading pretty slow. I have tried doing a few things but it only helped a little. I have installed Ewww Optimizer plugin, enabled Gzip compression, Leverage browser cache, but my speed is still slow. I noticed that there are 2 main things that my site got Fs in:

    1. Specify Image Dimensions
    2. Optimize Images

    I really don’t know what else I can do. My images are optimized with Ewww Optimizer, and I don’t know what Specify Image Dimensions means. My wp automatically creates those thumbnail images. Thank you in advance for your help.

    thank you bob. I have looked at those articles and similar articles. But I still don’t understand the part about Specify Image Dimension, which my site failed in the speed test. Also, all my images are optimized before uploading to server and also I use Ewww Optimize as well. But when I test my site, I still failed in those 2 areas.

    Looks like most of the image dimension stuff comes from that Thumbnail slider thing. The images are all like:

    <img src="https://www.kevindinh.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/15-3642-page/Yris_Staforde_Wedding-72-60x60.jpg" class="pp-ss-thumb pp-no-pin active" data-src-2x="https://www.kevindinh.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/15-3642-page/Yris_Staforde_Wedding-72-120x120.jpg" />

    Which does not have any height or width attributes for the IMG tag.

    So, whatever is displaying those thumbnails needs to be programmed to included those attributes. Now, what plugin/feature is doing that and where to change the code I have no idea.

    yes, Mark. Thank you for your input. I’ve been search but I couldn’t find answer to this.

    Here’s an automated solution: Specify Image Dimensions. This plugin scans your website and automatically sets the appropriate image dimensions that are missing a width and/or height attributes in your <img> tags.
