How to increase number of posts per page?

    Hi there,

    Hope you’re all doing well. I realize this topic has been discussed before but I have done the things recommended and have not solved my problem. Wonder if anyone has any insight:

    I just want to increase the number of posts per page so that there is not this big blank space at the bottom of my homepage

    I have increased the number of posts per page to as high as 20, but it will still only show 5 of my latest posts. I find the big empty space at the bottom of the homepage a bit off-putting.

    Any suggestions?

    if the number under settings – reading does not influence the number of posts on the front page, it is likely set either in the template directly, or by some theme options.
