how to increase the width of the text

  • Hi,

    I am helping out make a website for my school and everything was going well. yet, now, I encountered a problem with increasing the text width.

  • If I am understanding you correctly, you are wanting to give the text on the white background more room left to right. it looks like you could give it a little bit of room by adjusting the CSS. A side from that it does not look like your theme will give you more room.

    First make sure that your theme is not set as fixed width theme. If it does not then you can adjust the width of text by editing the CSS file of your theme.

    hi, thanks a lot for your advice, but I have just realized I have even bigger problem. My layout is different in Internet Explorer. It is a very simple 2 columns layout. Has a menu on the right. That menu drops down in Internet Explorer 7 and 8.
    Please do help!
