• I haven’t found a way to indent a text paragraph in Gutenberg. Someone noted that there is a Classic block to which one can change to accomplish that, but there is no such block option.

If there is no way to indent paragraphs, that is a very serious omission.

  • I very much agree with Herbert. Paragraph indentation is a must-have for a writer/artist like me. Not having it makes writing cumbersome enough that I am already seriously considering finding another editor altogether…
How in the world you could ever consider removing it is quite beyond me. ??

I love how the admins are arguing with the users.

I, for one, am fairly irked that there’s no indentation button available to me. I see a block quote button, but that’s absolutely not what I want. I want to indent paragraphs, just like you would in a word processor. At least give me the option to get rid of Gutenberg (I guess that’s what I’m using). Hopefully I can find this classic plugin and it works. Otherwise I’m looking at HOURS of copying and pasting tags.

When you rattle on about blocks, I have no idea what you’re talking about. And as a user, I find the “oh well, suck it up” attitude to be downright offensive.

This is a 5+ month old topic, as such I am closing it for further replies to not bother the original posters.

If anyone is experiencing new issues, at this time that is likely not the same issue as the original poster (we have had 3 major releases in this time), and it’s therefore better to start fresh for each issue.
