How to insert a "read more" in a faq in Accordion

Hi,
I use Q&A for my website and it work quite well. But as the answers are sometimes pretty long, I wanted to have just an exerpt showing in an accordion so that the use can decide if he goes to open the question.

including a “read more” tag in the text editor does not function.
any idea why ?
