How to insert a video in home page ?

If the vid is on YouTube you can just add the embed code.
You can use many different plugins for this as well.

I am not seeing where your existing video link is on your site where one has to click the title.

As lmilesw mentions, YouTube, Vimeo or any of the other video streaming sites is the easiest and most efficient way to provide videos.

If you are using a video you have uploaded to Youtube (or Vimeo), which is the easiest way to get a video online and use it on your website, then all you have to do is paste the url into your page where you want it.

in order to get it to auto play add autoplay=1 to the end of the url like so.

[YouTube Video URL]?rel=0&autoplay=1

example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ?rel=0&autoplay=1

I hope that works for you. A similar option exists for Vimeo.

Yes all what you say I did it, the video is on youtube… but the thing is that I want to show it in the home page not doing a click in the title to watch it. I created a post and I put this line [su_youtube url=”https://youtu.be/LaO4aL2-htE”%5D …. but I still can’t see it in the main page… I have to click the title “STAAR Guide to Success!” to get into the post and watch the video.

I think that I can’t insert a video in a “post” message and show it in the main page… because I understand what y’all said, I have done that before for my other pages but never in a “post” message. I think that is the reason why the video is not showing. :/
