How to insert Admin comments where I want.

  • My wife wants to respond to a comment by inserting her own comment right after the reader’s comment.

    This seems like an easy task, but I cannot figure out how to do it.

    A plug-in perhaps??

    Please advise. Thanks!

  • There is support for threaded comments starting version 2.7
    So, if your template is compatible with the latest version, then in settings > discussion: (Other comment settings) check Enable nested comments 2 levels deep

    Then your wife would just have to do reply to any comment.
    (you could also limit the use of reply to your wife only, otherwise any user could do reply)

    If your theme doesn’t support threaded/nested comments, you might be able to get the functionality through a plugin. Could try WordPress Thread Comment to start.
