• Is there a way to preview my post before sending it?

How do I insert this image correctly?

I copied the IMG code and pasted it here. Should I do anything else to make it show up?

What are the correct steps to inserting an image into a forum post?

Yes, I want to link the image to this forum.

What’s the best method to link to and image on photobucket or other photo sharing site, so that someone can help me with it?

If someone were to help with a problem, they need to be able to see it.

Its a Gimp image that I want to insert into my webpage and I can’t figure it out. How do I create a simple scrolling bar with text, ie. “Home care, Errands, Shopping, Personal Assistant” scrolling bar along the top of the page.

I have searched only to find widgets that scroll on the sidebar. I want it to scroll above the header and right below the navigation bar. How hard can that be?

Gimp .xcf images cannot be displayed on any web page. The image would need to be in png, jpg or gif format before it could be viewed via a web browser.

yes, I usually save as .jpg, png or gif format. I already have the images, I just need to know how to link them to this forum.

Not sure what you mean – do you have an example to link us to?

this website has a scrolling text bar https://www.cuttingedgedesigns.com/locksmithwebsites.htm

I just want to be able to customize it: larger font, borders, custom colors…

and the image is still in photobucket. What is the best way to link it so you can see it?

Either with the ‘<img>’ HTML element or the background-image style in CSS

Also I see no scroll bar – please explain.

The bar, or “marquee” as it’s called here, is red with white letters…. right before the table with images on right and text to the left.

This is part of the source code from line 219
line 219<p class=”MsoNormal” style=”margin-right: 0px” align=”center”>
<font face=”Arial” size=”2″ color=”#FFFFFF”><b>
<marquee bgcolor=”#9B0C14″ scrolldelay=”85″ scrollamount=”5″>Cutting Edge Designs · Designing the Future……..
long code that ends with…
line 222 Please call toll-free 877-289-8327 to place your order.</marquee></b></font></p>

It’s way too long for me to post.

I’ve seen on another post where the marquee code needs to be placed in the css or php but I have no idea where exactly to place it.

Again, there is a widget is for the sidebar, but I want it in above the header or under the navigation bar.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right: 0px" align="center">
<font face="Arial" size="2" color="#FFFFFF"><b>
<marquee bgcolor="#9B0C14" scrolldelay="85" scrollamount="5">Cutting Edge Designs · Designing the Future........
long code that ends with...
line 222 Please call toll-free 877-289-8327 to place your order.</marquee></b></font></p>

Above indicates a copy and paste from MS Word. Do not copy and paste from MS Word.

ok. is there another way to get this information to you.

if you go to this https://www.cuttingedgedesigns.com/locksmithwebsites.htm web site, there is clearly a scrolling text bar with a red background. When you go there, give it a few seconds, then the text will start scrolling. I copied the source code so you could see what I was referring to.
