How to insert "read more" tag from page builder.

I would like to know too!

The “read more” tag only applies to blog posts when they are displayed on the Posts Page or an archive page. It won’t do anything on the Builder or Default page templates.

Out of curiosity, what is the use case for something like this? Why would you add content to columns in a Text section and then not show all of it? How would people access the rest of the content?

Apparently not possible from page builder.
I suppose we could use another way which would be putting a html link to another page looking exactly the same except that the text would be shown complete.(?) I am not that knowledgeable. There is probably a more elegant way to do it.

Just noticed your post Corey.To answer your question: This is on the welcoming page of my site which sells services. There is 3 columns with text explaining something about the different services. They are looking like a bit too much to read for a front page. So I thought that if I just put a start with option to read more then it will looks a bit lighter.

I actually think your solution you posted above is the best way to go. You can add links in the Text columns, so if you just add a short blurb, you can then add a link with “Read more” or whatever you want that goes to a separate page.

read more is not working in pages & this one are working in posts.
how to enable in pages?

Usually, the Read More tag isn’t used on standard Pages — but it looks like you may have already sorted this out.
