How to insert the MP form on selected pages and posts

    Our website requires that the MP form with 2 images displayed in selected posts and pages. We created a shortcode that returns the images and form using the iframe code inside functions.php. We got a syntax error “syntax error, unexpected ‘MailPoet’ (T_STRING), expecting ‘;'”

    The iframe code was working if placed directly on the page though. So what we did was to copy the code produced by the iframe and placed it inside our shortcode. It displayed the form and was working fine except that upon submission we got this error “Sorry, but we couldn’t connect to the MailPoet server. Please refresh the web page and try again.”

    Another instance of the form (widgets) is present at the footer and is working fine.

    We are running the latest MP3 and we have WP 5.1.1 running on PHP7.2. All cache and security plugins were already deactivated. We even restarted the server to be sure. Also tried it on most browsers and devices.

    Can you kindly guide us on what we did wrong and point us to the right direction? The website is still new which is why we are still using the free version.

    We got it. Somehow it skipped our eyes that there is a PHP code for the form ?? Everything is working perfectly now.
