    Hi Pietro,

you can use the Metabox just below post textarea you use to edit post content.

If not visible by default, enable it using the “Screen Options” at the top right of admin bar of WordPress Dashboard.

You have chance then to enable “Booking.com search box destination” ticking the checkbox and Metabox will be displayed.

Using the Metabox you can choose specific destination and the searchbox inserted in your widget area will be prefilled with that specific destination for that specific post.

So you do not need any shortcode, searchbox will do all!

Let us know if you it solves.

    Thanks for contacting us

    Thank you for your reply.

I followed your instructions but it doesn’t work.

I put the searchbox in the widget (single post area), than I used the metabox of the post I’m interested to insert the searchbox.
I leave the metabox of the others posts empty.

The result is that the searchbox is visible in all posts, not just in the post I’m interested.

This plugin is designed to be placed into widget areas of WordPress theme.

This means that you’ll have the widget on all pages ( unless you put hands on code to exclude it from specific WordPress Templates – Pages, Posts, Home etc… – using some IF statements ).

The Metabox has been added to give administrators chance to change destinations for specific Posts and Pages: so basically you’ll get as many destinations as you need using the same consistent widget.

Let us know if make sense.

    Have a nice day.

    Pietro,

You can use a plugin like Conditional Widgets. It gives you lots of control over widgets, such as where to show or not to show them.

    Jetpack includes a similiar feature.
