How to insert video in post or page

  • The embed media button (looks like a strip of film) is gone. How to I embed a video from YouTube now? I tried using the “Insert from URL” in the media library, but all I got was a hyper-link. The media manager seems to have changed significantly ?? I also need to embed an uploaded video too. Do I now need a plugin to do these two things?
