How To Install a New Page Style Where Posts/Articles Nest?

    I am new to WP, just built my first website. I am using a theme called Hum based on Twenty Eleven, with slight modifications. Please look at my website for reference:

    I LOVE the theme, but the “Articles” page, which uses the “Showcase” page theme, doesn’t seem to show the posts on iOS devices. Also, I would like to have a better control in terms of design- I want a better layout of the articles- organizing them in a portfolio-like order.

    What would be the best way to go about it? I would like to keep the left menu in place, just changing the design of the middle part of the site.
