    Yeah, don’t follow that guide, it’s much easier than that. ??

    All you need to do is add a Text widget to your widget area of choice at Appearance -> Widgets in your blog’s Dashboard, then paste the code from https://www.surfline.com/widgets2/create_widget_forecast_b.cfm?id=3309&layout=v&wid=45489 into that Text widget.

    I thank you for your help,it worked just fine. I know have another problem. Last night playing around I took that widget code and put it into a zip file and downloaded it to my site. I now have an area I did not know existed what I thought was below my footer. I have another surf forecast and can not find where it is located to remove it.
    My site I am trying to build is Coastalpropertiesofmexico.com You can see it at the bottom of the page.

    Ah, it looks like maybe you added that to your theme’s footer template?

    Check Appearance -> Editor in your blog’s Dashboard and look for the code in the footer template.

    Or, if you haven’t customized your theme files besides that, just reinstall the theme.

    Ok that worked,I was looking at the footer tab in customize. I thank you for taking some time to help me.
