How to install WordPress italian version

  • Hello everybody. I do not know whether this is the right place to write or not, but I’ll try. So, I have installed the english version of WordPress from Hostgator but now I want to have the italian version. I read that there are two possibilities to do that, but I’m not 100% sure that both are feasible. The two options are:
    1) download and install the italian version via the luangages options.
    2)install the italian version directly via the hostgator’s panel using quick install.
    For the first option, I have another question. I’ve installed wordpress version 3.5.1 while the italian version is not yet updated (it’s 3.5). Is it ok to install the languages option even if the italian version is older than the english one?
