How to install WordPress on a 2nd site

So far I’ve downloaded WordPress, changed the config-sample file to match my details for my newly created MySQL account on 1and1. After that, I tried to upload it using a new site on Filezilla, but it isn’t working? Where have I gone wrong? Do I need to create a new FTP account on 1and1, then put those details in? Do I have to change where the domain is pointing aswell?
