• I’d like to link/jump to specific locations on pages on my site without html coding. The WordPress.com tool supports this with the hyperlink tool in the Visual editor. My www.ads-software.com is missing this function. Is there a plugin?

  • Geeze, c’mon, it ain’t rocket science. Google “HTML Anchor Tag”

    <a name="Top">&nbsp;</a>

    Blah blah blah

    <a href="#Top">Go to Top</a>

Yes. I’m looking for a tool that creates the code.

    Try typing it in.

You folks are really friendly. The tool is obviously helpful. It is included in the WordPress.COM version, why not the www.ads-software.com version?

There are lots of extra available in wordpress.com sites that are not available within a WordPress download. If you’re self-hosting, there is some (albeit limited) assumption that you will be able to carry out some basic tasks yourself.
