How to keep menu in place?

  • Hi!
    I wanted to know if there was a way to keep the menu in place on my site…

    If you grab the windows on the right side and drag it to the left you can see whant I am talking about, the menu floats on top of the content.
    Another thing, when you try to post comment and start writing, the writing space expands behind the menu.
    Is this something I messed up with and how can it be fixed?
