How to keep posts at top of categories

  • How do I keep a specific post at the top of the category page but not the main blog page? I’ve tried plugins like Adhesive and Sticky Post however, they make the post sticky on all sections including the main blog page. I need different text at the top of each category page (sort of an introduction).

  • You might want to check out Category_Templates and just add the “intro text” directly to the template?

    Thanks, that is what I’ve done with the main page currently but I need to add images and change some of the text for each category page as they need to be different and I have 19 categories, which I believe means that I have to create 19 templates right? one for each category? Are there any other options?
