How to know if it's spam?

  • OK, I can recognize some spam, but today someone left a comment as “Anonymous” and there was no email address or name just some numbers. The comment actually made sense but I don’t trust the fact that there is no email address just numbers.

    I’m a newbie so not sure if I’m correct.

  • Yep, I’d agree with you that it’s likely spam, specially with no valid email.

    I’d written about a soup recipe, and the spammer referred to a recipe using chicken. So do these spammers even go so far as to recognize the subject of a post? Amazing!

    Oh yes, it’s amazing (or perhaps more like appalling/disturbing/annoying) how “good” spam bots are…
