I’ve set up the Members plugin and miniOrange 2 Factor Authentication on my WordPress site, and I’m looking for help on how to let users log in and edit specific pages.

The Members plugin allows me to create custom roles and permissions for users, so I can control what they can and can’t do on my site. For example, I can create a “Contributor” role that lets users edit certain pages, but not others.

The miniOrange 2 Factor Authentication plugin adds an extra layer of security to my site by requiring users to enter a second form of verification (like a code sent to their phone) in addition to their password. This helps keep my site and my users’ accounts safe.

I’ve already configured both plugins to work together, but I’m not sure what link to send to users so they can log in and access the pages they’re allowed to edit. I’m hosting my website on SiteGround. Can anyone point me in the right direction? What link do I send them to log in, and how do I make sure they can only edit the pages I want them to?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi @toros,

    T

To allow your users to log in and edit specific pages, follow these steps:

    1. User Login: Direct users to your login page at?https://yourwebsite.com/wp-login.php.
    2. Custom Roles and Permissions:
      • Use the Members plugin to create roles with specific permissions.
      • Assign the “Contributor” role (or similar) to users, which should have the ability to edit only the designated pages.

These steps will help ensure users can securely log in and access only the pages they’re allowed to edit.

    Best regards,
