How To LIMIT Number of Comments…

  • …that are left in a post’s COMMENT section. I don’t want to prevent people from commenting, just put a number on CERTAIN posts so there can only be so many comments and then it stops allowing comments…or something like that.

  • If you want to stop allowing comments, then you can use the comment moderation plugin, I guess. Those comments won’t be posted on your site until you approve them. If you don’t want them to be displayed, you can just delete them.

    When you think it was “enough” – close the comment option (open the edit panel and uncheck the box)

    If you just want to display the last, say 10 comments, I guess you can modify the SQL somewhere. I don’t know where exactly but someone else might provide you with the details.
