    Hello,
    I like this plugin and was wondering about showing a specific # of listings for the categories. Right now, the shortcode shows all the items in the categories. Is there a way with the shortcode to limit the # of listings it shows?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey did you ever figure out how to do this?

    @sock2me No, I have no idea how to do this and I have yet to hear from the developer which concerns me as there are no other Etsy plugins that I’ve seen (at least in my research) which have been recently updated and tested with the latest version of WordPress. This plugin seems to be the only one left and I hope it doesn’t get removed from WordPress’ repository for abandonment.

    This is something that we will need to add to the plugin.
    To better understand, can you tell me why you do not split the listing in 2?

    @fsheedy Hello, it’s nice to hear from you, I don’t know what or how you recommend splitting the listing in 2. How would I do that?

    @sock2me @ormgrecipes I mean by having 2 categories. But it maybe not what you want.

    I will be able to add option to limit the resulta to a specific number, eg. 10 items only to show.

    @fsheedy To explain more, I make and sell handmade greeting cards. So, for example, I have several card categories like: birthday, anniversary, thank you, etc., and of course I have a lot of cards for each category. So on my blog, if I want to only show 10 birthday cards or anniversary or thank you, it would be great to say number=10 (or something similar) in the shortcode instead of if showing all the birthday or all the anniversary cards, etc. at one time. Hopefully I’m making more sense ??

    I just released version 2.2 of the plugin.
    You can now use the option

    limit=”100″

    By default, the limit is 100, but you can change it, here is an example:

    [etsy-shop shop_name=”KimsHandcraftedCards” section_id=”26623116″ limit=”5″]

    Please tell if everything works for you!
