• Hi,

I have created a folder locally with an index.php page in it. I wish to know where I need to upload this folder into my server (Godaddy) where my WordPress website is hosted and how to connect the index.php to a menu.

    It doens’t work that way.
But ………. if you had a page on your server that you wanted to link to, I guess you could use a Custom Menu Link :
Appearance –> Menus –> Custom Links

    Hi,

I have created a folder in wp-admin folder and have upload the files there. One of the file is a .php page which I want to show in my website. I tried the path to the .php page but it gives the error page not found

    Correct.
    It doesn’t work that way.

The paths get re-written by Apache for anything under the WordPress installation root.

You’ll need to move the file outside of the WordPress directory, or use some rewriting rules in your htaccess file.
Maybe you could put it in a subdomain.
